Apricots
The nutritional properties of apricots, rich in provitamin A and minerals, are particularly suitable
for children and athletes.
A concentrate of β-carotene
Like all intensely colored fruit and vegetables, apricots are rich in antioxidants which protect cells from the harmful effects of free radicals and act more generally against aging. The orange color reveals the presence of carotenoids, including β-carotene, a precursor of vitamin A.
Eyes in top condition!
Apricots are a precious ally for sight thanks to provitamin A but also to lutein and zeaxanthin, two
antioxidants capable of protecting the eyes from aging in general, and in particular from macular
degeneration due to age and cataracts.

Our apricots come from Campania, Calabria, Sicily and Spain.
