Pineapples
Exotic, rich in fibers, the pineapple contains an excellent enzyme for health, especially for
digestion.
A golden enzyme
Pineapples have a high content of bromelain, which can be found in the fruit, the stem and the leaves.
Bromelain is a perfect ally against tumors, inflammation, edema, wounds, and burns. It is also beneficial for the cardiovascular system.
Plenty of nutrients
Pineapples contain antioxidant pigments that give them their characteristic yellow-orange color;
their concentration increases as the fruit ripens. Pineapples also have a number of vitamins and
modest doses of minerals and trace elements.
Choose your pineapple wisely - though it must be fragrant, the aroma should not be too intense; it should be heavy and have shiny, thick leaves!
Origin
Our pineapples come from Costa Rica.
