The starch of the potatoes seems to have a beneficial impact on reducing blood lipids.
Potatoes are great for regulating cholesterol and triglycerides. They contain vitamins B, C, and K.
Too much salt?
If you have put too much salt in a dish, such as a soup or a slow-cooked broth, you should add 1 or
2 peeled potatoes.
Let them do their magic and remove them after a few minutes: they will have absorbed a good part of the excess salt!
