A name, a g̶u̶a̶r̶a̶n̶t̶e̶e̶ mistake
Discovered by Christopher Columbus’ crew, the small round and red fruits were mistaken for those of chili peppers. Peppers had been grown in Central America for several millennia when the conquistadores introduced them to Europe.
More peppers = more memory
From some studies, it appears that peppers can stimulate learning!
They contain luteolin, a substance that may improve learning and memorization skills.
