Zucchini
Rich in vitamin C, calcium, and antioxidants, it is one of the pillars of health, especially in winter!
Cooked or raw?
You have eaten cooked courgettes many times, but have you ever tried raw courgettes? You can use them to prepare fresh and tasty salads or as a condiment for bruschetta.
From flowers to vegetables
Zucchini flowers have a gender: male and female flowers are born from the same plant, but the
vegetable grows from the latter only if they have been pollinated by the male. In addition to being
edible and tasty, these large yellow flowers are very popular with bees.
Origin
Our zucchini come from Italy.
Supply period
